Scientists are trying to decode the genetic causes of schizophrenia. But as this ScienCentral News video explains, new research suggests that nearly every person with the illness has a different genetic defect.

    Older paternal age comes with DNA mutations in sperm stem cells. That is why in sporadic schizophrenia and sporadic autism different genes are found. Fathering all babies in ones 20s to 31 is the best way to avoid genetic disorders in offspring.
